ANGEL NUMBER 22 #LeapDay
We go from being artists in preschool to test takers associated with standardized tests by the 3rd grade. From here for the rest of our days we compete with one another for recognition, opportunity and achievement. It's all about the concept of the number 1 as we all compete over our slits in the matrix full of individuals (1's) and space (0s.) People fight for the title of being #1, the top individual, the one above the collective, when in all actuality we must all work together. There is no such thing as a self-made person. I believe in the concept of Ubuntu which is "I am because we are."

I have decided to publicly endorse Will Jawando for Congress in the 8th District of Maryland. This is the first political candidate I have ever endorsed. This is because I have met directly with Will. I walked randomly into his office while I was hanging out with a homie from around the way who society would label an "ex-offender." I talked to Will about my court case and told him I was looking for a job as a community organizer, seeing as I have a bench warrant for going through the metro without any money. He told me to send him the blog post I had written about my court case (End War on Drugs & Poverty) along with my resume. At the time I didn't know that he had worked with the Obama Administration as a Director in Public Engagement and advised Secretary Arne Duncan in the Department of Education. I had just decided that his 30 second pitch was cool and I liked his energy. I'm big on energy since about 90 percent of communication is nonverbal. A few days later I had an interview with him and his wife Michele, who's also Vice-President at the Center for American Progress. They were cool, grounded, believers--really down to earth. I'm looking forward to growing the community with them. Hope to see you at our event tonight!
Maat or Ma'at was the ancient Egyptian concept of truth, balance, order, harmony, law, morality, and justice. Maat was also personified as a goddess regulating the stars, seasons, and the actions of both mortals and the deities, who set the order of the universe from chaos at the moment of creation.
